While this hostel could have been a little cleaner, it had a great, relaxed vibe and the staff was very helpful. We loved having coffee on the roof every morning, looking down on Jaffa with a great view of the ocean! We adored the location as well - a short walk to Tel Aviv, the beach, and seconds away from some great restaurants. Out of the 4 places we stayed in Israel, this was our favorite!

When IArrived I paid 65Euro(priceConfirmed inFebruary!)inTheOwner'sPresence butAfter15 min. a hostelWorkerCameToMyRoomAndToldMeToPayExtraMoney - 15 E. I wasSoSurprisedThatDecidedToGoBackToTheLady-hostelOwnerToAskWhySho uld I pay additional 15E? Tthe woman WAS TALKING TO ME EXTREMELY AGRESSIVELY AND SUGGESTED A WORSE ROOM IF I DID NOT LIKE TO PAY MORE. What is more she claimed the right to be the only person in charge there, and she made me leave the hostel. Room full of cockroaches, anyway!

Staff was very helpful, but it was incredibly hot (no AC.) The bathrooms are tiny and the shower pressure is really weak. I only stayed one night, on my way to the airport. The rooftop garden was nice, made the evening heat bearable.
