One of the newest hostels in Montenegro! We are a 10 minute walk from the beach and 30km from three Unesco World Heritage sites. Kotor is a 20 minute bus ride away.

There was a mix-up with our booking, but the management admitted it was their fault and provided alternative accommodation on the same street at a discount rate. We enjoyed our stay there, but if Dave and Nadja are reading this, we have no regrets about not going to the Stones concert!

There is no way to express in words how fantastic this place is! the owners are so friendly, they make you feel like old friends. The garden is beautiful and there are always interesting people to hang out with. It is very clean, the kitchen is inviting, the breakfast is great, there is a comfortable living room with a great dvd selection. This is the kind of place that you book for 2 nights and end up staying for 2 weeks!

The Hippo Hostel was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was very nice, and I enjoyed the free shot of the local liquor. The owners had put a lot of heart into their hostel, and it was a great place to kick back and relax.

simply, one of my favourite experience in youth hostel, even if Budva is very far ... And the american boy and russian girl who manage the hostel are so nice !
Nadja & Dave, the owners of this beautiful place are extemely friendly and helpful. The hostel has a nice garden where Dave organizes barbecue-parties. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the entertainment room is really nice with a CD-player (+lots of differents CDs) a TV with plenty of international channels, Dvds a even a Nintendo! Last but not least there is a free internet access and a delicious free Beer / day. I alreday miss this place !
