Even if there were other hostels in Brindisi, I would absolutely reccommend Carpe Diem. This is the motto of the owner, Maurizio, and it shows in his enthusiasm per la vita! The hostel itself is clean, safe, fun, and charming, but it\'s the energy that Maurizio and his daughters bring that make a guest feel right at home. The espresso, drinks, pizza and laughs were delicious. I will definitely be back! Grazie Maurizio! Ciao!

They offer lunch and dinner which was very good. They are a lot of fun. the walk is more like 45 from the train station.

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed out, to tell you the truth. The folks who run it are awesome: laid-back, friendly, and willing to do a lot to make you comfortable. Just beware if you try to find your way on foot: the signs had been rearranged a little due to construction work, which made it a bit complicated to know where you were going.

THE BEST HOSTEL WE HAVE STAYED AT!!!! Not only is it a cool hostel but Mauritzio who runs it is the most wonderful host you could ask for, going above and beyond for any little request or problem. Cannot recommend it enough!!! A hidden plus is that unlike other hostels you can stay for just the day (rather then a whole night) which is cheaper and gives you somewhere to relax, put down your bags or have a shower whilst waiting for an evening ferry to leave.
