I don't know why anyone complains about this hostel. It was clean and quiet and in a great neighborhood! Right on an Express subway stop! They changed our linen only once, but if you go to the front desk, they'll give you more, no charge. Maybe not for people looking for the "hostel-party" circuit, but perfect for people who just need to crash between days of exploring the city.

Even if everything seemed very clean, we saw cockroaches in the room. Joe was nice enough to find us other beds at Candy, but we were never able to get our money back (or the difference of price back cause we went from twin to 4 bed dorm). We had chosen the place for the cleanliness and the location.

Really great place to stay. All of the staff and security were really approachable and friendly. The common area went off every night. I'm definately staying there again.
