centrally located and handy for the sights

We had a great stay in this hotel. Its in good location from the station, and all the major sights. On arrival the staff were very helpful, giving us a map and showing us the best places to visit. Room was abit dark but had everything we needed. The building itself was incredibily secure. With its huge front door, inner door, hotel floor door, and finally your actually hotel room door. All of which were locked. Good checkout time. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was fine, the hotel is in a beautiful building which is very accessible to the train stations and the center of Turin. Our only gripe was the towels and toilet paper not being replaced.

On entering the hotel we were impressed with communal areas and we were impressed with a bedroom we could see through an open door; however, we were extremely disappointed with the room we were allocated. It was situated in an attic space, separate from the other rooms in the hotel, the entrance of which was a narrow door and stairs, which we struggled to get up with our rucksacks as it also had a low ceiling. The room itself as said was an attic space and in parts the ceiling was low. There was very little light or air due to the small windows and the room really needed redecorating. On the positive side, we were impressed with the bathroom and shower. If we had been staying for more than one night, we would have asked for another room and if one was not available we would have considered leaving and finding another hotel.

They informed us only us on arrival that they didnt have a room for us!! even though we booked weeks in advance... We had to stay in a quickly adjusted dusty living room full of old furniture - with no bathroom ensuite as we had booked , next to the loud reception area..on the second day we were given a double room ensuite - and we were told it was an 'economy' room - up in the attic , dusty and unpleasant. Compared to 5 other places we stayed in Italy, all booked as a double room with ensuite - this was a joke and unpleasant. They didnt give us a discount either for the inconvenience.
