We enjoyed the Mango Tree quite a lot. While it was pricy compáred to other places we~re staying (including in Rio), it was worth it to have those first couple of great days in Brazil. Tracy is so very helpful and friendly and there was a lot of socializing to be had in the common area. I have nothing but good things to say about the Mango tree

what a lovely hostel. the location is great the staff are nice. Clean sheets and bbq fridays! I stayed for a week and thought everything was great and would come back again! Thanks!!

Really nice and clean hostel with the best location you can get in Rio! Dorms weren't as fancy as I expected, but I still enjoyed my stay a lot. And from what I heard about the other hostels in the neihgbourhood: this is the place to stay at.
