We stayed here for 9 days. The private room is perfect, and the dorm rooms are to be expected. It was very clean, well kept, and the staff is very helpful. Tips: Make sure you have an online reservation number! (names don't count). If you show up late without a reservation number you will be sleeping on the floor. There are fans in all the rooms, a full kitchen, and television in the common room. The staff is helpful and Ben is the best! I would recommend this hostel as it is the cheapest place to stay in Athens.

The hostel itself is not bad, quite clean and not very noisy in general. The kitchen and all rooms are adequate. The main problem seems to be the incredible bad organisation of hosts, who usually don´t check (I think) the bookings -besides, they don´t have interenet in the hostel!-, so don´t forget to bring a photocopy of your reservation!

Nothing to do with what I expected!! I know I get what I pay but I couldn´t imagine worst: bathroom very dirty with smelling water, bed uncomfortable (sheet never changed), no professional staff, area quite dangerous with prostitute and drug dealers next to the building... I think next time I´ll pay more to feel more secure and cleanly comfortable!!

I only stayed here one night for a few hours, the rooms were alright, we had a patio and a sink. Yay for sinks in the room. I didn\'t get a chance to use the shower but the whole system seemed a bit confusing. They had a kitchen!! Which is a great idea in any hostel. The location is alright, a little sketch sometimes, the oldschool elevator is scary but awesome.

Athens house hostel was like stepping into a remake of the horror movie \"Psycho\". This was the worst Hostel I have ever experienced! It was in a very unsafe part of town, our room was covered by wig hair from the owner ( that during our 5 day stay wore the same clothes), and we were made to share a bed even though we had booked and payed for two beds. We tried to cancel due to the the obvious false advertisement of this gross place but were not allowed because the owner had the booking scribbled down on a sheet of paper and was unaware of the rules stated by Hostelworld.com. A word to the wise... DO NOT STAY HERE, EVER!!!!
