Location is up for interpretation. It's not in the city bustle, so if you want to be two steps away from restaurants and shops, this place is not a good choice. You have to take a taxi or bus and drive is quite long to get to the central area. In the same time, if you like nature around you, location is great. Walking in the parks etc, super for that. Beds are a bit on the hard side, but otherwise fine. Staff's English is inconsistent, some speak very well, others barely. Don't rent bi

This was a great hostel. Very clean and the food is good. Good size private room, with hot water and a heater for those chilly nights. Free internet. Nice and big common area. It's a little ways away (North) of the bars and restaurants. However you can just take the K4 bus(2RMB) and it's only about a 15-20 minute ride down to where the bars and restaurants are at. Very quiet at night. It is a little hard to find. It's up the hill from the main road. You cannot see it from the main road. Just loo

just a lovely laid back hostel, great location and the staff couldn't do enough for you. the rooms were a little bit cold, but then the weather was pretty lousy in hangzhou so that's not that surprising. but all in all, thumbs up!

very stylish hostel, nice beds. its not perfectly located, you should rent a bike, its the best way to get around. staff seemed a bit annoyed and moody. very calm, so good if you are looking for less touristy action.

A great hostel with super friendly and helpful staff. A special thanks to Leo and Candy for their help and assistance in booking my train ticket and finding me that so elusive taxi. One minor quibble, the hostel has to find a way of giving directions from Hupao Road, (the hostel is very difficult to find, as there are NO signs). Other hotels in the area seem to have solved the problem. Overall a very funky, laid back hostel with an eclectic mix of travellers, highly recommended.
