Great hutong atmosphere, but slightly disappointed with the size of double room ensuite. The photo online is of a much larger deluxe room I think. Not the normal double room size. Staff were helpful and location perfect and very central.Bathrooms were nice & Jinshanling-Simatai Great Wall trek was great(though a bit overpriced & with a CRAZY driver!)

Nicest hostel i've ever stayed in. Very comfortable double room with air con, ensuite & walk in shower. Internet, ps2 & dvds. Excellent location, would definately recommend.

Staff are great and helpful - despite working 12 hour shifts. the lobby is cozy, the location central. the perfect hostel for beijing. however, the food you can buy at the hostel does not compare to the tasty chinese cuisine of the nearby restaurants (the best of them is just 3 minutes walk away). overall very good.
