Tanita is beautiful and is located right next to the Ping River with really helpful staff. The rooms are huge and, those upstairs, are designed to be like a large Northern-Thai style home, complete with outside sitting area and large rooms. Unfortunately, Tanita is a LONG way from Chiang Mai and very, very difficult to find. Whilst the staff picked us up from town the first night, it took over an hour to get back the next night, as no-one had heard of it, nor knew where it was. It was really lovely, but a bit far away for me.

It was a very nice unique resort. Excellent personalized services. We enjoyed our stay in the resort. It would be perfect if there is a way to get rid of the mosquitoes. We would highly recommend Tanita Resort to travellers.

The resort is truly one-of-a-kind, and the owners made my stay there extra special, by going above and beyond to provide their guests with a memorable and enjoyable stay. They provided a complimentary dinner when I had arrived late one night, dropped me into town to explore the sights, and even helped a fellow guest and I celebrate Loy Krathong by floating candles on the river and flying a lantern into the sky. It is a beautifully-decorated resort in relaxed surroundings that is highly recommended for anyone wanting a memorable experience in Chiang Mai!

My two days at Tanita Riverside made all the difference to my stay in Chiang Mai. The resort is the most beautifull little tranquile place, made for relaxing and enjoying life. Mr Tanit, his wife and their amazing staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home, cooks wonderfull food, and will take you whereever you need to go, so do not worry about the place being too remote for getting around. A wonderful place for couples to relax and take in the Thai life. I would recommend Tanita Resort to all my friends that want a leisure and possibly romantic(up to you) place to stay. Truly a wonderful experience!
