It was fine, but compared to other hostels I have stayed at in Japan it seemed a little lacking.

Insufficient equipment for a hostel. Not enough toilets, showers are tiny, very steep staircase to reach female dorms. The kitchen is too small, the fridge is miniature. And we wondered why the owner had two very dirty tea clothes on the table during our 4 day stay... it really put us off from using the kitchen. And between the two female dormitories there was not a wall... as the light from one room can be seen from the other!

The man who ran the hostel was very friendly and provided us with suggestions where to go. There were also bikes for rent. The location is a little out of the way but you get what you for. Clean sheets, clean bathrooms. The only thing bad is the boys dorm room. It smells like, well, boys. It needs to be aired.
