Nice place, bring change for the pool table. Neighborhood is nice during the day, but got a little dodgy at night. Not the fault of the Hostel, just something to look out for.

The neighbourhood is a little sketchy -- I was told not to keep anything visible in our car on the street and met another hosteler who had his bag stolen out of his car. But there are some good restaurants just a minute walk away, and the hostel is nicely-laid out and comfortable. Good show.

The hostel has this special character of southern United States, and even you can see pieces of furniture of ancient times... the problem is that some of them are so ancient that it feels like there is dust everywhere. Nonetheless it is clean, the staff are very kind. The neighborhood is not so interesting in itself, but you can take the train to everywhere. Advice: Take a taxi from the train station if you have heavy pieces of luggage, don´t accept help from homeless people, I did so, and had
