There was no front desk and no common space other than a kitchen (with no place to eat). The staff lived in the basement and we felt like we were disturbing someone at home any time we needed something. The place looked clean, but the empty hostel must have been that way regularly, because there was dust everywhere and the people who worked there didn't clean after themselves, which led to a colony of ants in the kitchen. This was our most unusual hostel experience.
