some rooms had no windows and ceilings were barely 6 feet high, making for a closet-like feeling. Rooms were quiet, however. Staff moved the bags of my friends to another room without their permission... not so good.

First 2 days the booking were a bit of a mess. Booked room at level 6 but gave me level 2, a room that resemble a prison, small with no window. But the owner Sammy told me my room was not ready. The next day I was given another temp room on level 13 that was lived in by Sammy's relo but wasn't there for the night!! Again this was temporary and from there on I was given a room on level 13, fair size, clean with a window. Granted not much view but not many hostel in HK has a view, otherwise it wou

I really liked the Hong Kong Inn, it was easy to find and the staff are most helpful, even got the security guard at the front door to have a conversation with me. If you want a cheap CLEAN place that has a comfy double bed, then this is a great place for you, I will be going back 2008, becareful in Wan Chi though ;-) its about a km away if yor into that sort of thing, otherwise there are local pubs/ clubs with cheaper drinks and just as much fun. Hope this helps you all. Two Thumbs up!
