We have really enjoyed Xian and stayed longer at the hostel than we'd planned. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is superb, right next to the city wall at the South gate. We would highly recommend this hostel. Bring Mosi replellent though as there's plenty here. Claire and Jim

Excellent! We met some really interesting people just handing out at the front desk and in the lounge, which also has computers available for you. The best way to find it is to locate the south door of the city wall and look for the "Hostels International" sign or "Paulaner Munich" sign. It is right there. It is reasonable close too to the center of the city where you catch the buses to all the famous sites. The staff is helpful for helping you get where you need to go and there are staff who are eager to learn to practice speaking English. The nicest thing ever is that I needed to buy a new plane ticket out of Xian and a staff person actually came with me to the airport to help me buy a new ticket because the staff were so worried that I wouldn't make it with my poor Chinese. That is some fierce niceness.

Extremely friendly and warm staff; the rooms were nice and the sitting areas were very conducive to hanging out with fellow travellers.

our door locks seemed a little flimsy and the balcony would have been easy to access from someone who really wanted to get in. however overall, we were quite happy with the hostel.

A delightful place, extremely well located in a charming pedestrian street, with easy access by bus to the train station, and on foot to the airport bus. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
