Location was superior. Our view from the balcony was phenonmenal. We loved our stay there, but we do have a few recommendations. Future travelers with Eurail passes take the ferry because it is free. Self-catering kitchen is good but needs more cooking utensils. This hostel needs to review their security procedures with the room keys. The keys too accessible when the front door remains open. There is a wonderful resturant across the street that belongs to the hostel, but only paying patrons a

Lovely place on a beatiful location next to the lake. Breathtaking view to the mountains from the balcony in your room. The staff was cool and very helpfull. Three days was absolutely a to short time, so much activities. Must come back! :)

Best Hostel I have stayed in! Very rustic looking, classic Swiss building, right on the lake. Rooms are decked out with Ikea everything, long beds, very clean bathrooms. Food is very very good! And the staff were wonderful. Gorgeous location, but make sure you know the bus and ferry schedual to get into Interlaken, as the bus drivers, not the tourist info place!
