Lovely family atmosphere. Incredibly helpful.

Rooms are to a really good standard and are very peaceful, although the downside of this means that town's a taxi ride away (AR$12). Great crossiants, juice and coffee at breakfast. Very welcoming hosts. Laundry is pretty pricey though and takes all day. No communal areas, but this keeps the place nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

We have a terrific stay at Hostal del Monte. First and foremost, we loved Graciella and Oscar. They are lovely and did everything to make our stay memorable and lovely. I'd highly recommend their hostel to any other travelers.

This hostal is very nice! Everything you would expect is there. Only downside is that you really need a taxi to get into the centre, and everything is in the centre. So everytime 10 peso, which mounts up. But the hostal itself is really excellent and the owners are more than helpfull in every way. I would certainly recommend it.

Our stay here was excellent. Apart from being a little too far from the city centre (we did have to get 8 pesos cabs to go down and up a hill to get there) the rooms are super clean and the couple who run it are excellent, kind people. Breakfast was on the weak side, being just some toasts, a croissant, milk (coffee or chocolate) and juice . Is not a place for those seeking to party for its a very familiar environment. But you´ll rest as a king/queen, even if the sun doesn´t go down!
