This is one of the nicest hostels i have stayed in on my travels. I came back for a second stay infact! It is literally like a home away from home! Friendly staff, right by the MRT and China town markets, i highly recommend it!
What an incredible experience... The hostel owners made you feel like family the instant that we arrived. The place was so clean and very well designed that we wanted to extend our stay. If you are looking for a friendly, clean and safe place than Matahari Lodge is for you. We will definitely come back to this hostel soon... This is a great Hostle. It's just what most people are looking for; a secure, clean and confortable room for the night which is also very afordable. Also the staff are great, very helpful and always up for a chat. Thanks for a great stay Mann.......

I've traveled across 13 countries in Europe staying in various hostels and I hadn't had such a great staff as the staff I had here at the Matahari Lodge. They're very entertaining, friendly, fun, and best of all extremely helpful. I had a minor medical emergency (razor blade cut off the end of my finger by accident) and they were there to help me change the bandages, provide me with positive jokes to keep my mind off the pain etc. Not only that, but they're just a great crew that gave me a very warm welcome.
