Marcopolo itself is a great hostel, but DO NOT listen to them when they recommend the Burgos Hostel in El Chalten. The Burgos hostel is shack in someones backyard. For 50 pesos (which is prob the most expensive hostel in el chalten) you get only a sagging bed in a tiny room with seven other bunks. The kitchen is a camp stove. no common room, no included breakfast, no booking office. i had to wait in the rain for 2 hours before someone even ran across from the house to open the room. it wou

The staff went was very helpful. They went out of thier way on 3 occassions to make sure our trips and tours worked out. Additionally they were very friendly and very considerate. The helped keep up a conspicously social vibe.
