i had a booking for aussie way hostel, but when i got there at about 11 pm it was closed!! i knocked on the door several times and called them on the phone, and nothing!! i had to get another taxi and i ended up paying 30 dollars for a dorm room in another hostel, instead of paying 32 dollars for a private room as i was promised from aussie way....

they had the wrong type of room booked for me even though i had a confimation. the staff was unfriendly and not helpful. the hostel is dirty and far away from the action of the city, but not quiet. if you have to live through a loud hostel experience, might as well do it at a convenient location that is cleaner.

I made a mistake with the dates for arrival but the staff were annoying and a little sharp. but on leaving seemed a lot friendlier. all in all there's better hostels in the area.
