Excellent hostel, and above all, excellent hostess! Great place to stay to visit the painted monasteries, as Monica offers guided tours. Monica is totally helpfull (went to pick me at the station at 11 pm, booked the next hostel for other guests...) Nice house and lovely garden!

This is not a hostel, but a \"home away from home\". And one of the few hostels where you know from the beginning who owns/runs the hostel. And Monica makes every effort to make you feel at home in her cozy and nicely decorated house-hostel. She is also THE source for information about the city and the region around it. If you want to make a daytrip to the monastries (or another destination), she wil be you chauffeur and guide too. These trips are also good value for money. Everything in the hostel is brand new and good quality. Do NOT go to any other hostel in Suceave as this is the best.
