I have read some differing opinions about the location of this hostel. It is NOT in Gothenburg itself, but rather a 15 minute ride by commuter train outside of the city. Knowing this ahead of time, and knowing that we had to check in between 4pm and 6pm, we just planned our day accordingly, and arrived without probelms. If you read all the information they provide on the Hostels.com page you will understand more about the out of town location, and also know that you must check in between 4pm

The best place to stay , away from the crowd, very quite, country atmospehere and nice escape for the weekend.Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than we expected to due to our travel itinary changes. Anyway were are pleased and enjoyed the few hours stay and hope we can come back in Gothenburg for another holiday in the near future.
