Just awful. So dirty. i had to put my t-shirt on the pillow to sleep on it."Neithbourhood" looks like a city dump. All these naked undefed kids in streets..Should i say its really far from the center. I easily found a much cleaner guesthouse in Colaba area same day, and they seemed to have many vacant rooms. The Pals hotel also charged me for two days even though i stayed there less than 12 hours - checked in before noon and checked out after, yeah formally they have the right, but still.

Kinda scary. There was some kind of vomit on the wall. The place was squalid and there were fleas on the bed. Bring toilet paper, your own towels, a sleepingbag (the sheets are NOT clean) and your own pillow, and perhaps a sponge. The A/C is very nessisary. The neighborhood is scary but its mumbai so to be expected.

The bed was clean. The room a bit of a mess. But had AC so overall it was cool and safe which is exactly what you want.

We stayed at Pals mainly due to the price being one of the cheapest in Mumbai. Although it wasn't the cleanest place we've stayed in by a long way, we found the staff most helpful&friendly&the hotel was very quiet which made up for it. We stayed in a deluxe a/c room which included a tv&fridge. It was a bit out of town but not too far&less than 100 rupees by taxi. Would stay again if in Mumbai.

It was better than I thought after reading the reviews from the website. Quite a long way from the Fort and Colaba, but the staff were very happy to help me get a cab when I needed one. Nice to have a balcony.
