Location is good, close to MRT. Seems most people in the hostel were there long term studying Chinese, so not the best place to meet people to go do things, as they are often studying and in class. 8 bed dorm should be a 6 bed dorm, as there was no place to put your stuff with out tripping over it. Only 2 bathrooms for a place that size if it is full you could be waiting a while to use the toilet or shower. Staff and the long term guests were very helpful and friendly though.

Overall, a very nice place- friendly people and spacious room. There were only two bathrooms, and only one had a toilet (although the other one had a washing machine instead, although note that the clothes line is on the smokers\' balcony). Beware that you can only pay in cash. And also make sure to print out the map, because otherwise it is very difficult to find initially.

A great little place, very comfortable and friendly. My only suggestion is to put a sign downstairs! It was very difficult to find the location at first, especially for people unfamiliar with Taipei's street numbering system.
