Location is just perfect! the staff is super friendly. They helped us book for some activities as well. Breakfast is decently priced.

No money no talks! Though I could understand pub is a place to make money, you run the hostel as well; you need to respect your guests. You can't stay in the pub where you can access wireless much easier if you don't buy any drinks. No kettle, no drinking water; not good for backpackers who want to do self-catering for yourselves. It would be an ideal place for you to stay in WINTER because it was horribly hot in the dorm. Even in the midnight, you would wake up because it was too hot to sleep

Skip the Happy Inn Lodge and stay somewhere else! This place was in a decent location (close to the West station), but the hostel itself wasn't great. Its a part side business for a bar downstairs, and it never quiets down. If the bar and people downstairs finally shut up, then the creaky nasty floors will wake you up. The showers are disgusting, HUGE patches of black mold and you can barely turn around they are so small. For you buck in an expensive city its much better to stay at a place that

The food in the bar is not very cheap. You can find cheaper meals in Migros or Coop restaurants.
