Have stayed in many of amsterdams hostels over the years and Bob's is very satisfactory. Pretty much what you expect for the money and the free breakfast is good. My one complaint is that the main guy who runs it is far too rude, completely devoid of any manners and didnt smile once let alone thank us for our stay etc. Apart from that i would recommend this hostel.

Great location but it wasnt very clean and there should be a ban on smoking in the common area! Also the bunks had no railings and it was very scary to sleep on the top!

Not bad , not good.. if your room is at the second building be ready for stairs..
