The staff is especially kind. Unfortunately, when I was there, San Blas lost it's water for one day...Otherwise, it's better to have a room at the back of Casa de la Gringa I for more quiet and be warned the very hot showers are too hot! It's burn or freeze! Also, the Annex is freezing, but the bed are good and have at least 4 blankets each!

The rooms vary a lot, the first few nights we spent here we had a beautiful loft bedroom, but on our return we were given a room in a separate building with no window which was quite noisy. Like the rest of South America, hot water is sporadic at best, which is fine...but don´t pretend that you do have good hot water!! Location is excellent, San Blas is the place to be in Cuzco! I would stay here again, but I would want a loft bedroom!

We booked for Casa de la Gringa 1 and were in put in Casa de la Gringa too. There was no atmosphere there which was disappointing. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

A great 2 nights in the Gypsy room (main house). Much preferred this room to the 1 night we had in the Annexe. We would stay again in the main house.
