its hard to pull off a hostel of this size, but i give kudos to the tent staff. thez do a very good job with the place and it was by far, one of my favorite hostels thus far.

sleeping with 100 other people is really not as bad as u\'d think...try to get the back corner away from the 2 doors or else u\'ll get woken every 5 minutes..hefty lockers for ur stuff..they giv u heaps of blankets cause its cold out there and u can make a fort for privacy if u get a bottom bunk! easy to get to with trams, and cheap.. good cheap beer and breakfast...and they have bbq every night..stupid showers that only last 15secs..u have to keep pressing the knob to start the water! sucks! ..we\'d stay again...

Awesome place to stay. We travelled 3 months and this is by far the best bang for your buck! So much to do bbqs fires every night great atmosphere, ping pong and all sorts of cool stuff. You would be dumb to stay anywhere else in Munich and wasting your money!!

Unique character. The more-than-one-hundred-people tent may seem a bit crowded and insecure. The place is chilly at night even in July, so get a loads of blankets when you check in (stayed for two separate nights, and needed 6 blankets in the colder night). The washroom was GREAT, never thought it had such a clean, spacious washroom for a "tent". Very far from city centre. Be sure to catch the tram on time otherwise you will lose time on travelling to and from there.
