This hostel is located well outside of Dublin's main station, however, if you have a eurorail pass all trains are free of charge within the city which is perfect considering most other cities you have to pay for metro in order to get around.

Bathroom cleanliness was a bit poor at times, but mainly due to other users not cleaning after themselves. I saw staff members cleaning regularly. Security was not great, some of the lockers worked (in 10 mixed bed, room 3) some of them did not. The staff mentioned they are trying to fix that. Location was not bad, but just a suggestion, definitely talk to the staff or train station attendees to find out when the last train runs and spare yourself the cost of a cab ride. FYI from Dublin, the last train runs just before 2330 from Connelly Station. Overall, I had a great trip and the hostel was very pleasant!

Ivan and John are awesome people, and they run a great "ship". Very cozy place and felt more like home than a hostel.

right next to the DART, so if you're staying outside of Dublin, its no problem. VERY nice staff, who gave me free internet for booking with Hostelworld. Small place, but has everything you need and is kept very clean.

We will definately stay at Marina House again if we are in Ireland. The area is amazingly beautiful, the staff is wonderful (and always willing to help!) and we had an absolutely wonderful stay!!!!
