We stayed for three nights and were very pleased with the service and facilities. We had read a few poor reviews before we arrived and had been concerned about the cleanliness. Upon arrival, they showed us our room which was very clean, as were the sheets and towels. The first night we noticed that two of our lights were not working, but were only able to inform the staff at about 10:30pm. They came to fix the lights right away (although one could not be fixed until the following morning as the whole thing needed to be replaced and they didn't have a replacement available). Breakfast was nice - bread, cheese, jam, omelette, fruits and tea or coffee. On the morning of our departure, they served us breakfast with a smile at 5:30am.

Very helpful staff, I enjoyed staying there. Please note that it is easy to get confused between Moms Guesthouse and Mommy's Guesthouse. Please ensure customers know the difference as Mommys Guesthouse is not very nice.

Having just spent two nights at Moms guesthouse, I would highly recommend staying here. The new extension has just been completed and the rooms are immaculate, spacious and modern. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming....including their tuc tuc driver, one of the more genuine and honest people I have come across. Also it happens to be located adjacent to one of the best Thai restaurant in Cambodia. All in, a lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mom's and the staff were brilliant, however, the only thing we questioned whilst staying at the Hotel, was the trip that the hotel arranged for us - we were quoted a price by the hotel which we agreed to pay - this price was broken down into how much we were paying to have a tour guide - the tour guide then told us that he was receiving $10 less than what we were paying the hotel. Either the hotel and tour guide need to agree that they will not disclose this information to the customer or agree fair rates between one another - it made us question everything else we were paying. Also, the buffet dinner we had on day one of our trip was disappointing as we paid $12 for dinner and were unaware it was to be a 'buffet dinner'.
Amazing hostel! We stayed from December 27th to December 29, 2006 and they were renovating; a new section has been completed and where we stayed was practically spotless. The staff spoke good English for the most part, though there were some miscommunications over costs and messages. The location is in the middle of a street that has a ton of hostels and excellent Cambodian restaurants. Would definitely stay again if we go to Siem Reap for another jaunt to Angkor Wat.
