Loved this place! And Suzy helps you out with everything. It's a cozy and small place, nice to hang out in the lounge with other backpackers. The bathroom could have been better, but it didn't affect my stay, and I would use this place again..

When we get the chance to visit KL again, we will surely choose to stay at Travellers Palm again. The place is in a very good location - near most tourist areas. The owner, Suzy & the manager-on-duty,Wan were very helpful on how to go to the various tourists spots, and in giving tips like how much taxi fares should be from one tourist area to another. Travellers Palm offers peace, quiet, and relaxation after a long & tiring day of going around KL. Opportunities for improvement: washroom too cramped, nice to have written information on places to see with street maps & recommendations on best time to go to this places - opening/closing time, best eating places (classified into price range, location, etc), and it would be nice to look at pictures of other guests who have stayed at Travellers Palm before. Thanks so much Suzy & Wan. Best wishes. -Myles, Mae-ann, Joan & Joy (Philippines)

What nice people-nothing too much trouble. We would certainly stay there again except that en suites in nearby hotels are the same price or cheaper. Still, 100% better than Borneo Global Backpakers Hostel in KK

location is good pretty central , staff friendly & helpful , had a downstairs room next to the lounge/reception which was rather noisy at times
The travellers palm is on a shady little side street a few blocks from the lights and bustle of the main part of Bukit Bintang. You get a key to the padlock on the gate with your room key - which is both reassuring and ominous. The place is simple, the rooms are simple. Mine was non-aircon, and smelled to high hell, probably from the heat and moisture. The bathrooms are in very sorry shape. There is one working shower and one working toilet for the entire place, which is less than ideal. That said, you get a good amount of space, a pleasant, low key, home-like atmosphere, absolutely great, caring staff, free breakfast and great location for a competitive price. You might find cleaner, newer accommodations at a similar price in the area, but you are not likely to find the same pleasantness of atmosphere and quality of staff you will here.
