My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Makuto Backpackers. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the area and traveler's needs. The hostel is very clean, 15 minutes of free internet and within easy walking distance of great Arab teahouses and most of the recommended sites to see in Granada.

I loved Makuto, it was a great place to explore Granada from and also just to chill out. The staff were very helpful, it was a home away from home!

Fantastic hostel. Set in the Albayzin district the hostel is a gorgeous little haven - great to escape the midday heat of Granada. 5 minute walk to Sant Nicolas where you have sweeping views of the Ahlambra. The staff are invaluable giving you a personal introduction on they key areas to see in Granada including some good recommendations for tapas. The hostel is extremely secure, has small lockers to store your valuables, clean bathrooms and a wonderful area to relax with hammocks. Includes breakfast and internet. Highly recommended.

Great hostel, very relaxing and good staff to guide you or just hang out with. Wifi didn\'t work, but they have free internet there for you to use.

A good hostel, good location, clean and the staff were helpful. The only issue was that we had no air conditioning or fan in the room and it was very hot at night.
