We were very unhappy. There were no taxis available when we arrived at the train station - apparently sometimes there just are no taxis. The room was loaded with mosquitos and other types of insects, with no effort to screen them out. The owner was very rude to us. I won't be returning to this hostile unless management changes are made - they need someone who pays attention to detail (such as bug screens) and customer service.

There is a very communual feel to this hostel, more so than in any other place I stayed. It is a bit of a hike from the centre of Certaldo but on a bike it is pretty easy. We really enjoyed our time here.
