One of the worst hostels we stayed at. Don't bother booking through Hostelworld because they will have no idea you made a reservation. The bathrooms were filthy and the bed sheets were to small for the beds. There are no lockers either. We don't recommend this place.

We enjoyed so much our stayed, ... we had the Red Room, and it was really hot, and I mean hot, hot, .. we couldn't find how to turn it down. But besides that everything was great!

This place pretty much sucked 1) i paid adeposit through HW for 3 nights, however Gia had no clue even when i produced a receipt, "we are so sorry" BUT YOU CAN ONLY STAY FOR 2 nights," we are so sorry" 2) after i travel for 10 hrs i had to go find an ATM to get cash, did i mention it was a downpour? cold rain at that. 3) Fridge had a moldy smell, for that matter the whole kitchen did, downstairs and damp, oh and no tea kettle. 4)Juice/water/beer/ drink cooler did not keep things cold. speaking of heat, very hot upstairs, cold down...you get the picture, yes we see....... 5) Not that i watch TV much but it didn't work anyway. 6)And after the first night, with no reservation any way i asked for a return on the rain money, reply? "we are so sorry" NO can do......now remember i am also out my deposit to HW. 7) 8 beds in a room for 4, whats up with that, very cramped indeed . 8)On the bright side, Dimitri(staff) was a super person, he had his hands tied i guess...... unfortunate that i write such a review but this place is a bit dodgy to say the least. It would be good for them to read this review and gets things up to par for the area........Sighisoara, Ro is a fantasic town. In Truth, Peace & Happiness Bruce G Nelson

i didnt actually end up staying here due to being sick and getting stuck in Brasov. However, i did ring them early on to conirm the booking (i still thought i could do the train at this stage) and they had already given my room away due to a group booking received. id booked a private twin so i wasnt real impressed, hence not rushing to make the journey. i thought that was what reservations were for...

Very unsatisfactory to stay the least. We arrived after a long trip from Budapest and at first the lady in the hostel pretended not to understand us. It seemed she had no record of our booking. She then claimed (after she miraculously managed to understand us in the end!) that our booking was for the 5th and not the 4th. In other words, our mistake. This was entirely wrong - it WAS the 4th! She read our reservation incorrectly - or pretended to. She hemmed and hawwed for a long time before finding us 2 beds in a dorm. This was not what we had booked - we wanted (and booked, paying a deposit) a twin room. It looked seedy, security was lax and there were no lockers etc. We pretended to have no money and asked where we might find an ATM. Leaving with our luggage, we managed to find somewhere else to stay - a twin room, and very secure! If you must stay here, contact them in advance to ensure your reservation has been kept. I for one will not ever be staying in this hostel.
