we actually got moved to hostel bermejo across the way, but hey. great location, walking distance from parque del retiro, plaza mayor and loads of wicked little squares and eateries, this hostale has a lot going for it. not least that it's staffed by the scariest woman in western europe. bring your nerves of steel. (great location though).

this place was nice, but some of the organization was a little off. I really liked everything about the place, but would recommend call and verify your reservation prior to coming! We had no problem, but another group came the next day with a res, and there was no room. Would 100% stay here again

The location was perfect. Close to everything without being in the middle of it. The rooms were "normal", nothing special but they were super clean, quiet, safe, with ac and a balcony. The staff was also very accomodating - our train out didn´t leave until 10 pm and they let us leave our bags there all day no charge.
