I've stayed in some awful places, but this one took the cake, on the first night we were in a room in which the window wouldn't open, and it was 40 degree heat. Then they forced us to move to an equally hot room with 12 people in it, even though we had booked and paid for a six bed dorm, and they refused to repay us the difference in cost because they were too busy. Yeah, you heard me right. Too busy. It was filthy too. This place was more expensive than others hostels so I assumed I was paying

I did not stay at this hostel as they hadn't opened the email and they were then fully booked. Absolutely stupid system and the first time I have encountered problems with this website. The girl on reception was very helpful eventually and I stayed somewhere else.

Communal room (6 people) was a mess. Had to wade through clothes to get to my bunk. Can't really blame the staff, but I'll try. Security was in place, with keycard access to most of the building, but the door didn't close completely most of the time, rendering it useless. The lockers were great, but quite expensive. The staff were phenominal. They were very informative and helpful and always friendly.
