Esplanade Beach Hostel is a five minute walk along the waterfront from the Bus and Reef Terminals. Or for those who are flying (your arms must be tired) a ten minute taxi ($12) or a 30 min shuttle ($10) from Cairns Airport..

To put a finer point on it - right on the waterfront near the corner of Esplanade & Aplin Sts or next door to a 24hr cafe called Sinbad's & a couple of doors up from Esplanade Pharmacy.
