By bus: Take 173 bus (30 minutes and R$2,10) and step out in front of Casa de Rui Barbosa; or take 172 bus (40 minutes and R$2,10) and step out in front of Casa de Rui Barbosa
By Taxi: 25 minutes and around R$25,00

From the local airport (Santos Dumont)
By Bus: Take a Real (air conditioning) bus (20 minutes and R$3,50) to Praia de Botafogo; or Take 438 bus (20 minutes and R$2,10) and step out in front of Casa de Rui Barbosa; or
Take 472 bus (20 minutes and R$2,10) and step out in front of Botafogo shopping mall
By Taxi: 15 minutes and around R$15,00

From the international airport (Tom Jobim)
By Bus: Take a frescão (air conditioning bus) Real Alvorada (R$6,00) until Botafogo beach near São Clemente street and walk 5 minutes to the hostel.
By Taxi (buy the ticket inside the airport check-out lobby): 30 minutes
