Area is loud, staff were not overly friendly or helpful. Only a few benefits of the location is the free shuttle to downtown, otherwise it can be a long walk back to the hostel, as well, many of the activity booking agencies are located in close proximity. Grace, from Canada ~ 16th May 2012

good location for travel options... train, bus, free tour.... lot of traffic is a negative. each bunk has own lockable cupboard. staff are helpful and upbeat. generally a good place to enter and depart sydney. john, from Canada ~ 18th Jan 2012
