You need to have a creditcard to check in. Tino, from Netherlands ~ 20th Nov 2009

This is really a hotel. The on-line reservations for transportation costs from airport to the hotel are a bit misleading. Also, the real hotel phone number and other information does not show until the reservation is processed. Not a problem with the hotel, just pay attention to the on-line reservation website. Beds were advertised as being big but they're actually pretty small. AAE gives you a good rate on the room but charges you a ten percent booking fee that does not count towards the cost of the room. Stephen, from USA ~ 10th Aug 2009

THIS IS NOT A HOSTEL!! My only complaint is that we spent ages trying to find a place called AAE Hostel, but the place is actually called 6th Avenue Inn! It's a hotel, it has nice big rooms, TVs, a gym and a laundry and is in a great area, close to EVERYTHING! I don't know why they advertise on this website, but I'm glad we found it. TIP: If you book a twin room, you'll probably get a double. They say they don't guarantee 2 beds, but will supply rollaways. EMILY, from England ~ 19th Jul 2009

Noisy room: single glazed window overlooking on a busy street. Alexandre, from France ~ 15th Jul 2009

This place is an actual hotel ("Sixth Avenue Inn") & very traditional in what it offers. I was pleasantly surprised to find the location was great (10 minutes from Pike Place Market/bars & the Space Needle; 5 minutes from downtown). For the price, I would definitely stay here again! The staff are helpful in figuring out the town.

The location was excellent but the staff gave us very poor service. michiko, from Japan ~ 6th Jul 2009

This is actually a full hotel with cafe/restuarant called the "Sixth Avenue Inn". Overall quality is average - it's a basic traveller class hotel on the outskirts of the downtown area. Westlake Mall/Pacific Place/Macy's/Nordstroms are all 5 min walk away. Pike Place Market is 10 min walk away. Catch any southbound bus at Westlake Stn to go to Pioneer Square in 5 min. Three excellent restaurants for breakfast/lunch/dinner are 5 mins walk at 4th and Virginia: Serious Pie, Dahlia and Lola
