Spent a total of 3 nights in this place during my trip to Scotland. Since it's the only hostel in town everyone knows it's location so it's no hassle finding it. It's a good 10min walk from down town. Rooms come cheap (20£ for a bed in a 10 bed dorm)and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, both in standard and cleanliness. Even though the name says "youth" hostel, there is nothing youth about this place. Old house, old guets. All in all nothing but an avarage place. thomas, from Norway ~ 2nd Mar 2012
