Agora was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. They are literally always cleaning, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is so friendly. While their recommendations for bars/nightlife missed the mark, I felt like they were friends who were hosting me in their home. Agora is definitely not a party-girl's hostel, and that was perfect for me. The other guests were friendly and respectful, and overall it felt very upscale (as far as hostels go). The staff was so friendly, the place was new and clean, and what a deal. I am going back to Istanbul and when I do, I am staying here. I will also send my parents here as it is great. The breakfast is amazing, the rooftop has the best views. Just book this place, and stop looking. It is right near all the other hostels and the main areas. Great little restaurants nearby as well. This is a fantastic hostel. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The breakfast, which is taken in a nice room over looking the sea, is really nice too: hardboiled eggs, tomato & cucumber salad, olives, cheeses, ham, 2 types of cereal, coffee and tea. However, the one thing that pulls this place up from good to fantastic is the staff. they are nothing short of amazing. i have been to many hostels in the past few months and these ones were the best. they always will Jeremy, from Australia ~ 29th Nov 2011
