A really good choice if you arrive late in the evening by plane and have to get another plane in the next morning. Very close to the airport. I felt very welcome at the hostel, nice atmosphere. The owner is very helpful and very flexible with the airport transfers (5 NZD per way). Can recommend this place and would stay there again for a transfer night.

The Airport Skyway Lodge is a very nice place, the people are friendly and helpful. It is close to the airport and if you like to go to the city center there is a bus station just two minutes away. There is also a free food cupboard for everyone.

This was a great place to stay for a night or two in Auckland. It is close to the airport and close enough to the highway to get around Auckland. We felt it was a great home away from home.

Was a bit noisy during the night - no insulation it seemed so I got all the traffic noise as well as the staff moving about. Didn't feel hugely safe in the area that time of night.. but that's just being female alone. They also didn't have my booking... but the bed was comfy and it served my purpose!

i just wanted to say how much i enjoyed the days we stayed in skyway lodge! The place is very nice, and the staff is very very friendly!!! there is also a very nice clean swimming pool and a full cupboard and fridge of free food (which we havnt seen in any more of the hostals we've been in thank you for everything!!!
