The Hostel is in great central location in Amsterdam Spuistraat (opposite Amsterdam Centraal Station). My only issue was when I was leaving on the morning, I was not given enough time in the toilet as a disabled person, I take no less than 3 times longer in toilets to do what healthy people do. The only thing good about the hostel is the location and wifi. The rest is just terrible. Bedrooms are crowded, with no plugs for charging and really cold. The bathrooms are small and quite dirty, being too few for all the guests. The employees are guests with no trainning at all. The hostel just lacks professionalism!The worse thing was seeing a rat running from under a fridge to a bathroom at night!!! What can I say about that? This hostel isjust bad. I have been to the Aviengo hostel 3 times in total and have enjoyed my stay there very much.Sergei and his members of staff are very friendly and they gave me a warm welcome upon arrival.I have became good friends with Sergei's member of staff.The cost of staying in the Aviengo Hostel is very cheap and satisfying.I find that it is convenient to walk to the main touristique areas from the Aviengo Hostel and this is why I came back. I stayed in the only girls room and I have almost no complains. The room is very big (no bunk beds) and i liked having a kitchen and a clean bathroom in the room. Beds are very uncomfortable though and you only get a not so thick blanket to cover. And my friend saw a mouse, but nobody complained about it. The lobby is not big, there's only a sofa where you can sit and use the wifi, there's no bar tables, etc. But it's still very easy to meet people. Mirna, from Mexico ~ 9th Jan 2012
