Francis (owner) is very hands on and an excellent source for any and all information on Peru in general and Lima in particular. This hostel really is a home away from home. Francis, the owner, took great care of us and even arranged for us to be picked up at the airport in Cusco with the city tour already layed out. He got us around Lima using the bus system perfectly and fed us Pisco Sours all night long! I highly recommend staying here. Amy, from USA ~ 18th Oct 2009

The owner and manager, Francis, could not be praised more for his over the top support during and after our visit. He is a new friend and trusted source for all travel needs. We stayed for 4 nights @ Albergue Miraflores House and found it to be a good value. We had our own private, spacious room with ensuite bathroom and balcony. It's a 5 minute walk to Huaca Pucllana (great restaurant!) and a cheap taxi ride everywhere else. We never got to meet Francis, but the entire staff was friendly and helpful, and very eager to make pisco sours for us whenever we returned for the evening. It was nice and quiet at night. The double bunk bed room was on the smaller side though decent value for money with the spotlessly clean shared baths. The common area with the computer, TV, breakfast table was easily accessible and adequate for a number of people to hangout. Mohit, from India ~ 6th Sep 2009
