I had a good time. lovely people, I made the mistake of not clearifyng my cost from the first day, i had contracted 8 per nite, and ended paying 10. well i consider it a tip for the good service, and because i like Alegria, the owner, when they get a way for card payments, and honor web contracts it will be a 100, intead of the 97, that im rating. anyway you wont loose staying at Alegria's Alfredo, from USA ~ 28th Sep 2009

Do not book through the internet because they don\'t check internet booking so...you arrive to the hostel and there is not room for you!!!!!!!! They\'ve tried to get other room in other place but it was all full so we should share a room with 6 other people. But we decided to give them another chance and booked a private room for the next week when we returned from other city and surprise!!!!!!! Again all rooms were occupied... Alegria is a great hostess, the place was clean and a place to sleep for about 6 hrs then we had to get on a plane. But from what i can see its a great place. Kara, from Canada ~ 12th Jan 2009

This Hostel is one of the best I´´ve stayed in Colombia!!Alegria, the owner is just AWESOME!!! She really takes care of everybody and runs the place in a very efficient way. her staff is really helpful, Pablo, the guy at night is the best!! This hostel is a jewel in Bogota. More rustic than luxurious, this hostel is not for those looking for a posh experience. However, the place is well located, cheap, and filled with hammocks around the pleasant courtyard. A good value, recommended to more adventurous travelers. Nicholas, from USA ~ 6th Jan 2009

good location,loads of dvds to chill out to,friendly staff, unfortunately while i was there my phone was taken and fellow travellers backpack was taken which had his laptop and all his belongings,there is no lockers in the rooms and stuff was taken during the day,the hostel was extremely cold as-well Kevin, from Ireland ~ 12th Dec 2008

Absolutely the best hostel in Bogota. This proprietor cares about running her business and keeping her customers happy! Plenty of space, nice decorations, and plenty of suggestions for your stay. Fast internet access both wired and wireless. Multiple bathrooms** Never once did I worry about security. For price and peace of mind you can't beat this hostel!
