Good location near town centre however not the place for a quiet nights sleep - especially when the pool table is outside your room and people start playing at 5.00am after coming in! The travel company connected to the Hostel also kindly recommended a wine tour for us which turned out to be entirely in spanish so didn't understand any of it - muchas gracias! Maybe my favorite hostel of my whole trip.This is hands down the friendlist, most helpful staff I have come across.I stayed there one night (because it was full the other nights) and they let me hang out there for like four days.It´s right by the main plaza and they clean it thoroughly.Plus, the 8-person rooms are really two adjoined 4 person rooms, which is nicer than cramming everyone in one space. When I stayed in Monkey Hostel, it was the off season, and I was just about the only tourist in town. However the staff, including the owners, were all top characters, much of my time was spent hanging out with and talking to the staff, and the staff really made the place a special memory for me, even though I went at the worst time of year.
