This is a magical place... It felt like home from the first second. The staff is wonderful and the place very inspiring. You should plan to stay there for more than just 1 or 2 nights, it's definitely worth it as there is so much to see or just to have time to enjoy their peaceful and beautiful property. Staying at the Almaa Hostel was one of the highlights of our trip to Sintra. It is only about 10 minutes walk from the main town but yet it felt so remote and peaceful, we didn't want to leave it!
