if you stay at this hostel, don't forget to taste the saffron lassi made by Neena, the owner's wife, it is very delicious ! I tried to get saffron lassi at other places in India but found only mango, banana, etc and not saffron. Charlotte, from Indonesia ~ 27th Feb 2012

I loved my two night stay here. The owner is very hospitable and doesn't try to sell you anything, food is AMAZING and cheap. comfy beds, hot showers, 4 different roof top terraces for maximum privacy and stunning views over blue city at sunset... They also have a ginger cat who sits on you lap and purrs. I would not hestitate in recommending this 'homestay' style hostel... ALSO has been the home for several Hollywood actors when trying to escape the media while filming here!! Benjamin, from England ~ 10th Feb 2012

The guest house is an old-style haveli. It has lots of character. The location is good - it's in the old town, very close to the fort. There is a nice terrace overlooking the fort. The room was very basic and fairly clean. Towels were not included. Wi-fi is available for 100 INR per 24hrs. You won't get lots of privacy - the place is built that way. All comings and goings are through the owner's place. The owner is very helpful, whether you want it or not. He can come across as a bit intrusive Ajit, from India ~ 14th Feb 2012

I stayed here with 3 of my friends, and we had a very good time here! The manager, Mr Sunil and his wife were very helpful. They were wonderful and friendly people. I would definitely recommend this to all of you! Karl-Johan, from Denmark ~ 1st Jan 2012

We only stayed one night in Jodhpur and chose this hostel as it is quite close to the fort and very inexpensive. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had hot water and were warned about there being no electricity in Jodhpur at certain hours, which was very useful. Unfortunately, our room was very dusty which made it difficult to sleep. This seems to be very common in Rajasthan. Other than that, we had a nice room with a rather hard bed (good for the back!) and a clean bathroom! The locat Colleen, from Canada ~ 24th Dec 2011

It's quite an old building, but the food and the hosts are excellent and couldn't be any better. Brian, from USA ~ 15th Oct 2011
