Would not stay there again. Was not very clean. Not all, but most employees were very unprofessional. One of them flipped out and started kicking the chairs and tables because his co-worker did not clean after himself after he ate. These are the people in charge of your "security" completely mental. I got downgraded from a 4bed to 8bed room, needed to "fix" something. When I asked for my difference in price back,did not receive it, and they tried to convince me the 8bed cost more then the 4. There was only 2 toilets for so many rooms. A few of the staffs showed rather unprofessional attitude to us. One was watching football while we waited for him to be checked in. Another asked us not to eat so much for the breakfast( our group made up of 10 people). We found it is quite rude as we have paid for it. Location was great, facilities were a bit less so. The kitchen is not well stocked and is stovetop/microwave only.You have to ask behind the counter for a fork (something not advertised, so I went two days thinking that there was simply no forks in the hostel). They have cats and they make the rounds of the beds for sleeping. I was fine with it, but couldn't help thinking that someone with allergies would be really screwed. This place is a 10 minute tram ride away from the city center/red light district.It is in a very safe area, right by the Van Gogh Museum, but there are no lockers in the rooms.There is one toilet/shower per floor, and although I saw them cleaning in the morning, the room with the toilet was always covered in pee by the end of the day.The staff were friendly and you can smoke (weed) downstairs in the common area.There is also a very nice grocery store right across the street. Very good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff and decent location with easy access to tram. Breakfast was also decent. Only complaint is something was very, very dusty in the room, either the carpet or drapes and it gave me really bad asthma. This ruined the last two nights of my trip.
